3-Phase Cast Resin Busduct

Cast resin busways are divided into two types: three-phase four-wire system and three-phase five-wire system. The former adopts a four-conductor layout consisting of three phase lines (A, B, C) and one neutral line (N), without an independent protective earth line (PE). Its shell cannot function as an earth bar either, so it is not suitable for overly complex electrical scenarios.Compared with the former, the latter adds an independent protective earth bar, making it safer and more reliable during power transmission. The material of the PE bar is the same as that of the other three phase lines. In case of equipment leakage faults, the PE bar can conduct the fault current to the earth within milliseconds by virtue of its low impedance characteristic, greatly reducing the risk of electrification of the equipment shell. Therefore, it is widely used in places with extremely high requirements for electric shock protection.Meanwhile, the physical separation design of the N bar and PE bar effectively avoids the interference of neutral line harmonic current on the PE line, which can provide stable and safe power supply for servers, precision instruments and other equipment, ensuring the efficient operation of the system.

1.Three-phase four-wire system:

It is suitable for scenarios mainly with three-phase power loads such as motors and fans, where the load symmetry is high and the requirement for zero-sequence current suppression is low; as well as low-voltage power distribution systems for non-precision equipment and other scenarios where the demand for leakage protection is not high and the grounding system is used infrequently.

2.Three-phase five-wire system:

It is applicable to high-rise buildings and commercial complexes with complex load types and dense crowds, where strict leakage protection is required; medical facilities equipped with precision electronic devices; chemical workshops with flammable and explosive risks; and places with high requirements for protection levels.
